Radaris is a well-rounded site that offers results beyond a regular, free people search engine. While you are able to use the basic search, and you will receive a composite of information from all over the web, the option to conduct a background or criminal background check are also available.
|Search Inquiries||Services||Accuracy Grade|
|Criminal Background Search||A|
|Reverse Phone Number Search||A|
|Reverse E-mail Search||A|
The system used by Radaris for their background check is quite powerful. This includes checking through piles of data and sources including education, property records, and even criminal history. Most of this comes through public records, although they do consult a number of different databases.
You can begin searching for a person with just their name. This will enable the powerful Radaris search engine to begin tracking down potential candidates. This is done by crawling through a variety of public records databases and files.
Criminal Background Search
This type of search will run through a variety of state and national criminal records and databases. This also includes the ability to single out anyone who is on the sex offenders' registry. Plus, fingerprints are also checked and tracked, making this quite thorough.
To provide an accurate and reliable review, one way to test the effectiveness of Radaris is through a case study of their services, utilizing the CEO of the company, Gary Norden. After a quick search through some company press releases and Google, it was quick to find a bit of information about him as he has been involved in a number of information technology projects and businesses. Beginning by inputting just his first and last name along with the state into the main search bar, we soon saw that there was a lot of information available. There was even a little map displayed to show where he currently lives in Massachusetts. What makes the Radaris service so exemplary is the options to order a background report; birthday information; addresses; phone numbers; property information; any existing judgments; marriage information and even a criminal check. Even with just the free services, we were able to see his current and previous address, along with the universities that this CEO attended (very impressive, by the way).
The entire process was quite easy. Honestly, as long as you know a little bit of information going in, it will not be hard to find anyone. The only exception might be someone who has deliberately worked hard at keeping their name out of public records.
Radaris is definitely among the best in the people search business. For starters, they offer many more options than almost anyone else. Plus, the site is just simply a pleasure to use. Unlike competitors, it seems that they conduct all of the searches in-house, rather than sharing information with other sites and databases. Even the information they provide for free is enough for a basic search and informational purposes. You will also appreciate having all of your options laid out in front of you, then you may choose which one works best.
|Background Check Fees|
|Trial Membership||2-Day Free Trial|
Once again, the fees charged by Radaris are quite reasonable; however can be a bit complicated to understand at first. At the moment, a Background Report is only available as a single report for the cost of $49.95. While this may seem steep, it includes a criminal check, as well which pulls back a laundry list of information (if available). Also, the price drops down to a special price of $39.95 by participating in the Membership Trial.
If you do choose to purchase a membership the benefits are more in your favor; however, remember that this membership is applicable only for Contact reports and will not include a comprehensive background check. In this package, a simple people search can be had for under $2.00 ($0.95 with the membership and a month's membership drops from its regular price of $19.95 to $14.95. It should be noted; however, that beginning your second month prices will return to the normal rate.
The Radaris site uses only publicly available records. Of course, they have a reach that extends to multiple sources including databases, court records, and other public domain information. It looks as if all of these sources have been internalized, because user searches do not appear directed outside of their local server.
Considering that almost all of the data used by Radaris is being gleaned from public records, the reliability should be pretty good, but cannot be guaranteed. This is also stated very clearly in the company terms of service. Everything is run through the company secure internal server and all requests are processed electronically.
Users do receive a lot of security and protection. For example, all transactions are processed through a security server, using data encryption. This not only protects your private information, but it also thwarts potential hackers. Of course, your private information will not be shared with third parties, except in the case of a valid government inquiry.
Radaris offers a lot in the way of customer help and support. There is always the option of sending an email, but you may also call the company directly through their toll-free phone number. Plus, they also have a full complement of frequently asked questions and a knowledge base to guide you through any questions, concerns, or issues. They also have a blog that can help to provide excellent advice and information. Plus, a number of links to take you exactly where you need to be on the site.
Radaris is one of the top sites in the world to do a background check and online people search through public database records. The prices are even on the low side of average and the site is very simple and easy to use. Everything is laid out well and it is responsive. As if that isn't enough, they also have excellent customer service.
